Sustainable products have more of an impact in Canada than they presently do in the United States. The environmentalists in Canada have kept a close eye on the Vale Nickel Plant, so using sustainable material in the project was a high priority. Galvanizing was the perfect choice to meet this requirement as zinc is a naturally occuring element and galvanized steel is 100% recyclable at the end of its life-cycle.
