Hilliard, Ohio is entering a new era with the $106 million Hilliard Recreation and Wellness Campus, “The Well.”
The 110,000-square-foot facility features an aquatics center, gymnasium, fitness spaces, event areas, outdoor gathering spaces, and a 25,000-square-foot wellness center operated by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
Nearly 1,000 tons of structural steel were fabricated for the campus, including more than 300 tons hot-dip galvanized and duplex painted for enhanced long-term protection.
With 33 oversized beams reaching up to 69 feet and weighing 25,000 pounds, close coordination between the fabricator, galvanizer, and contractor was essential to keeping the project on schedule.
Built for durability, reduced maintenance, and long-term performance, The Well is an investment in Hilliard’s community for generations to come.
