Upscale student housing has become the latest trend on campuses across the United States. This movement applies the Point on Lane a new luxury, mixed use apartment building just steps away from Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. This seven-story steel building allows for each student to have all the modern private amenities with the community sense of four to eight bedrooms per unit.

The building will also feature large group sports themed suites available for lease or rent on a per game basis for companies or individuals attending Ohio State football and basketball games. It will truly feature as a hub for sporting events and tailgate parties for the years to come. The exposed structural steel, balcony railings, screen walls and parking garage will all face the harsh urban campus environment.

The local architecture firm is one of many in the Central Ohio area that has worked on the Campus at The Ohio State University. For more than 25 years, The Ohio State University is one of the largest users of hot-dip galvanizing in North America. It is not a secret if there is work to be done at the University, and steel is involved, it will be hot-dip galvanized.
