Oak Arch

The Challenge, The Solution, The Results
Michigan's "City of Fremont's Public Art Program" has been working tirelessly to maintain the public parks and facilities. When the program approached popular, local sculptor Joe Krajkiewcz to come up with an idea to bring the parks and facilities together he came up with this perfect solution. A Oak Leaf Arch leading from the park to the Public Building.
There was no reason to come up with a piece of art that would also need maintained by the park department. The beautiful new paver patio was not ready to be bled on with a rusty hued coloring over the years to come from inside the tubular frame work either. Galvanizing not only looked good within the color scheme of the park, but would save the pavers, and create no maintenance cost for the City of Fremont.
