The rope design of the railings was fabricated for the Stevens Residence in Ocean City, NJ and is constantly exposed to the salt air. The fabricators' previous experience with galvanizing led them to insist that the steel be hot-dip galvanized to protect it from the aggressive environment. There was a 10 step process used with a total of 242 hours of fabrication time resulting in a beautiful Black Oxide Patina Finish.
