The Challenge, The Solution, The Results
The new LED Video Boards were installed at the NASCAR Pocono Raceway in August of 2015. All of the structural frame components, catwalk, and pole were galvanized. Galvanizing was specified because of its appearance, longevity, and maintenance-free qualities.
The galvanized coating was consistent with other fixtures at the track, and galvanizing eliminated the expensive and difficult maintenance that would have been required with other coatings.
