This beautiful piece of art is a modern, bright, plant-like sculpture with curved stems to resemble a Eucalyptus flower. This is a one of a kind sculpture great for commercial or residential display. Born in Ukraine, Vadim Kharanchko has made himself a self taught artist, especially in steel sculptures.

VK Sculptures are used in many settings, including business offices, public parks, and residential. The Eucalyptus Flower sculpture is now located at R Park in Roeland, KS. R Park has begun an art initiative, funded by the city.

They contacted VK Scutlptures regarding his unique steel sculptures, and wanted the Eucalyptus Flower. This flower is 75 pounds, 66” tall, and 22” wide. It is made of 1/8” round washers welded to a round rod and shaped to resemble a eucalyptus flower.

After being hot-dip galvanized, it was then power coated. This project was delicate due to the fragile nature of the piece and the unique design features. The galvanizer had to find a strong enough point to use for hanging, while being aware of distortion and wire marks.

This sculpture is now a talking point among the Roeland Park residents for its beauty and distinctiveness.
