As traffic continues to grow along one of the East Coast’s busiest corridors, the I-95 Express Toll Lanes Northbound Extension is helping modernize transportation infrastructure across Maryland while improving safety and mobility.
The project includes new express toll lanes, interchange improvements, and expanded roadway capacity from White Marsh through Harford County.
To support long-term noise mitigation and embankment stabilization, more than 300 galvanized noise wall and retaining wall posts were installed along approximately 5,000 feet of I-95.
Fabricated by Nasir & Associates and installed by DXI Construction, the 280-ton galvanized steel system was selected for its corrosion protection, durability, low maintenance, and long-term performance.
Galvanized steel continues to play a critical role in building stronger, more resilient transportation infrastructure designed to last for generations.
