The likeness of the historic feature of Benjamin Franklin has been in front of this bookstore for many decades. This past Spring it was hit by a car, broken in half, and left laying by the side of the road rusting and deteriorating. The galvanizer visited this area often, took note of the statue and the owner was offered to have it put back together, galvanized and painted.

The owner and entire community was delighted to see a new and improved Ben Franklin statue sitting outside of the book store once again.
