Jones Beach, NY needed a tough, durable beach comb that would not be abraded by the constant wearing of wet sand and corrosive sea water. They decided to hot-dip galvanize their surf rakes in order to ensure the tools would withstand the corrosive beach environment. As the rakes comb the sandy beaches, they will be protected from any harmful substances due to their galvanized coating, ensuring they will be around to keep the beaches beautiful for years to come.
