The Challenge, The Solution, The Results
The goal of the Capital Crossroads Special Improvement District was to beautify the area surrounding Ohios State Capitol Square. In conjunction with the City of Columbus and a local artist, this has been done with the addition of these 72 planters. The planters required an aesthetically pleasing coating, but needed to withstand the harsh environment of installation just a few feet from the street.
The powder coating over hot-dip galvanizing system provided the ultimate solution for both of these necessities.
