American Pride Power Equipment located in Zanesville; Ohio had to resolve storage concerns with their outdoor power equipment. American Pride Power Equipment started in 1990 and relocated to their current location in 1999. Within the last 5-10 years their business model grew.

Warehouse space locally was expensive, and an off-site location was not desirable. What to do? Their current location had space restrictions by the city / county to build an enclosed warehouse, but the space restrictions did not involve increasing the height of a storage facility.

So, a 4-story parking garage was designed and built on-site, storing 100 mowers on each level, lower level is enclosed and heated, levels 2-3-4 will have covers over the equipment provided by the manufacturer. The canopy out front was also hot-dip galvanized where the American flag is proudly flown with pride, the flag at the store is 30’ x 60’ and is on a 120’ pole, it matches the largest flag in the state of Ohio. Once the dealership, the architect, Lepi / contractor came up with a finalized design, Precision Welding & Installation was selected as the fabricator for the project.

Timing is always a key keeping scheduling demands moving forward, the galvanizer worked and communicated closely with the fabricator to meet their galvanized needs for the project. The galvanized project will be around for decades providing coating durability, corrosion performance, life-cycle cost which the owner of American Pride said will pay for itself in less than 10 years.
