SQ Balefeeders

Modular large square bale feeders were developed for 3x3x8 bales, utilizing hot-dip galvanizing for ultimate corrosion protection in livestock operations serving up to 45 adult sheep or goats per feeder. The component-based design enables flat freight shipping and flexible on-site assembly into 10 or 15-foot configurations for various farm operations.

Components

hay racks, brackets, feed pans

With small square bales becoming harder to find and the availability of more farmers having large square bales 3x3x8 we felt there was a need for a large bale feeder. This feeder was designed to place one large bale in so the hay was readily available and not wasted for groups of up to 45 adult sheep/goats per feeder. The feeders were built as components: 1 middle bracket, 2 end brackets, 4 hay racks and 2 feed pans. This allows to be shipped as flat freight. By using the different pieces a 10 foot long feeder can be assembled on site. Or by using the 2 ends 2 hay racks and 1 feed pan you can make 15 foot long feeder for in smaller spaces. You can also link sections together for continuous feeders in larger operations. We have worked with your company many years having gates and panels hot dip galvanized. And felt for the ultimate corrosion protection this was easily the best way to go.
