V&S Welcomes Paul Gilchrist

Voigt & Schweitzer is proud to announce the arrival of Paul Gilchrist to our V&S Taunton location. After some time of waiting for the right candidate, one of Raynham, Massachusetts’ own has found a new home in the Hot Dip Galvanizing business.

With experience in Operations, Manufacturing, and Project Management, Mr. Gilchrist is the right person for the newest Galvanizing Facility in the V&S Group of Galvanizing plants. The COLORZINQ^® plant is up and running at an impressive rate, and Paul has the experience to streamline some of the areas that will help keep us competitive and productive for our customers, The Steel Fabricators of New England.

With a strong background in Customer Service, organization, and scheduling the US Navy Veteran will help keep the Taunton Plant "Ship Shape" and ready to help with any customer concerns and needs.

A University of Mass. graduate, Paul is firmly planted in the area. A life-long resident, he is married with 2 children. He likes to golf and will be looking for customer outings, as that will probably be the only time this summer he will be able to see the Greens.

Some of Paul’s first challenges will be to get the V&S Trucking Service up and running, which has been very successful and helpful for the customers at our other locations; implement a full Second Shift to better serve our customers; and maintain the QA/QC ISO Program that has been the trademark to our successful relationships with our customers all over the Country.
